Suite for Solo Saxophone - by Remy Le Boeuf

Written in homage to J.S. Bach in 2020, Suite for Solo Saxophone explores the full range and character of the saxophone within the context of a (mostly) traditional Baroque dance suite. It features six movements: a prelude, an allemande, a courante, a sarabande, a set of bourrées, and a gigue. Like Bach’s Cello Suites, the difficulty of this suite is appropriate for any advanced high school player and the range goes no higher than an altissimo “A.”
